Villa Maria - Stresa

This place has incredibly comfortable and beautiful rooms with an excellent view, very polite staff, good food and a variety of goodies for breakfast, making for a nice stay.

All in all, it was excellent base for travelling to Stresa. I booked double room with amazing views, fantastic view plus sufficient space. The location was MARVELLOUS at the top of the hill and the staff here was very kind.

The location was ideal and I could use free parking on-site. The staff were constantly very amiable...

The hotel is set in a really quiet area. I got a comfy room with a really nice view. - the amazing views and facilities were a big plus. - the total experience was fairly nice, I would definitely recommend it.

I truly enjoyed this, haven't been in a better hotel. The property was located next to the centre, restaurant, and the lakeside. I have stayed in a double room with fantastic view and sufficient space, as for instance for 1 night. Having a shower, hair dryers, and a bidet was a bonus. The personnel was helpful and kind as expected. The position of the hotel was stunning and incredible, on hillside.

The location was simply breathtaking, with winding roads and stunning views of the islands. the hotel's quiet atmosphere allowed us to enjoy a relaxing evening drink while taking in the magnificent views. the breakfast provided was delicious and provided a great start to our day.

That the hotel was located a bit far from the main town, making it inconvenient to walk there comfortably. It was also a bit of a distance from the hotel to the centre.

This place boasts an unbeatable and peaceful location near the center, Lake Maggiore, the mountains, and the Borromeo islands.

The view was absolutely mind-blowing with stunning views of the Borromean Islands straight out our window and from the terrace. The spacious and clean apartment had a separate dressing room and a good-sized bathroom. The location was amazing, set on a hillside via a private road, and just a short walk into the old town of Stresa and the boat and railways. We were able to park offsite at Hotel Flora for breakfast and during the day for free while sightseeing. The staff at Hotel Flora were super pleasant and looked after us, even providing a gluten-free breakfast. a jaw-dropping stay with amazing views and excellent service!

Amazing lake view, stunning design, spacious and comfortable apartment. Very helpful staff, assisted with luggage and taxis. Gluten-free breakfast available, short walk to old town, boat, and train. Well worth the walk uphill, beautiful sunset views from terrace. Quiet and picturesque location, highly recommended!

Had a good laugh at the idea of walking 10 minutes to use a swimming pool and have breakfast at another hotel. Also, enjoyed the challenge of searching for a decent WiFi signal throughout the property.

Such a shame there was no info in the room. I loved playing the guessing game of where to go and what to do in an unfamiliar town.

A stunning room with a breathtaking view of the lake and islands. The balcony provided the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The WiFi was reliable and having a kettle in the room was convenient. The parking was nearby and we were able to use the parking at the Flora Hotel for free. The staff at Flora Hotel were friendly and helpful. It was easy to explore Stresa and Lake Maggiore by car.

The lack of windows in the room meant we couldn't enjoy the view from inside and couldn't leave a window open at night. It would have been nice to have more hangers in the bathroom and an additional wastebasket in the room.

The room was super clean. Fantastic views from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking for walks into town. Good and value for money food.

I had the privilege of experiencing the "world-class" swimming pool at Hotel Flora. And let's not forget the thrilling adventure of trying to connect to the "lightning fast" WiFi throughout the property.

Just loved how the nearest ferry terminal was a mere 1 km away. So convenient.
